When we escaped from NJ back to America (WV), we put all of our firearms, and ammo in a U-Haul trailer, and we were glad we did. No worries about theft or loss this way.
Good luck in your search! The pistols you listed, as well as others, do not use clips. They use magazines. MANY new folks also make this mistake, but a sincere welcome to the forum!

The other issue for me is muscle memory. This is why I no longer own H&K pistols for a carry gun. The magazine release is in a completely different place from my 1911's, below the trigger guard. In extremis, I don't want to have to spend the extra time to remember what to do to swap magazines...
Buck small Vantage Pro, or 112 SlimPro. USA made, S30V steel, ambidextrous clip, and Buck's "Forever Warranty"...what's not to love? Just reread your original post. The 112 Slim Pro is a 3" blade, but the small Vantage Pro is sub 3".
