Alright. What kind of grip safety should I get to do the least amount of filing possible? I don't want a drop in part necessarily, just a machined one of good quality
Hello guys,
I'm in a bit of a stall with my Combat elite project.
This is a 2019 Combat elite, so I ordered an EGW beavertail safety for 80 series (other parts or on their way before bringing the gun to my gunsmith) but I'm noticing this:
Is this grip safety going to fit properly?
Thank...
Hey man, to be honest I’m not sure I’m going to shoot that 19 at all I’ve chased a 19-6 for a very long time (being the latest dash before frame design change and mim parts) and now that I found it I think I’m gonna let it rest… I will use the 66-5 for fun
I’m lucky then, I’ve got two pairs of uncle Mike’s grips, these and another I took from a 66-5 that I had sold a couple of years ago…
But I really like the wood grips like yours too in fact I ordered the Altamont super walnut service grips
There she is!
I don’t know how much lead this gun is gonna eat because I’d really like to keep it nice and clean…but I already know that eventually I’ll shot it, maybe 38 and 158gr 357 every now and then.
