I shoot better groups at 200 yards with my dad's SKS than I do with my brothers scoped axis .308 and the trigger is weird. I've heard nothing but good things from other people though. Trade if ya want but I would value a .223 axis with one mag at $450 max and a very clean russian SKS at $750...
people paying $700 for a piece of steel seems more like theft to me. By that logic I can assume you will only drive a Ford. Do you only take Uber because lift stole their idea? Also you can't go to burger king or Wendy's. They stole McDonald's idea. It's a free market. If microtech can't stay...
I'm happy with my 1911's and revolvers that I need to get out and shoot more but wouldn't mind a plastic gun with a rail now that they make blue lasers. Also want a threaded rifle in .357/9mm. Also need something to run AR or AK mags. Kinda unAmerican not to have a 10/22 or marlin model 60 so I...
It's harder to sharpen and won't hold a fine edge as well. You are gonna notice that 60 Rockwell if you have to reprofile it but you won't notice it helping you retain and edge at all. All that extra money for the vg-10 goes into the molybdenum for corosion resistance. Makes for a worse knife...
Did you efile? Paper is taking forever right now. I'm going on a year waiting. I'd clean every couple hundred rounds or every range trip not that you need to. Don't shoot lead though or it will get real filthy real fast.
You can grab one in their soft vg-10. Good luck finding one in ats-55. They only made one sprint run in ats-55 because it work hardens and destroys the tooling. Super hard to machine but the end result is a much harder edge than the rest of the knife and every time you sharpen it the new edge...
Handle both. I've been told those Rugers are big but I had no idea how massive they really are til I saw one a couple months ago. It's an hk mark23 sized gun. Much larger than "full size" IMHO. Makes a 1911 government look like a pocket gun. Should make a light recoiling range toy but I'd...
Dogs can go deaf from gunfire just like we can. Theres also a correlation between white dogs and a higher chance of deafness. Tons of white bull terriers and dalmatians are deaf. I've got two deaf dogs and it's a pain to get them into the house. Both are mostly white. I got the one trained on...
My old man's got a glock 23 from the 80's. I can't hit anything with it no matter how hard I try or how close I stand. He can mag dump it and get head sized groups at 25 yards so it ain't the gun. I've also heard people say that a snub nose is a belly gun for bad breath distances. Mine shoots...
All airguns are different. Two identical guns will prefer different pellets. A good solid headshot at 500fps is plenty with any pellet weight. The whole issue comes in finding what pellet will group like that for you in your specific gun. You don't wanna chase down a squirrel with it's nose and...
I'd do terrible unspeakable things to get my hands on a matriarch, police, or civilian in ats-55. That will probably never happen. No experience with the talon but I've got a dozen or so CS knives and a couple spydies. I've fallen for the xl voyagers and stocked up on those. Super thin and...
Greg cote has the 10 rounders in nickel and blued , the site is just hard to use. He's the only guy though and 17 rounders are unobtanium. The limiter delete is super easy though.
Sometimes I'll carry a 6 shot small frame snub .38. Sometimes I'll carry a government 1911 with two spare mags. No matter if I have 6 or 28 rounds, I really don't intend to shoot twice or at center mass. If the gun, grip, sights, and training all come together perfectly for you than I think the...
Nice find! Nothing wrong with an ugly gun that shoots pretty groups. Love my 856's. Sold the 3" though the night sights were goofy. They never should have strayed from fixed sights, they just work too good at least for my eyes.
