So what stance do you use when shooting handguns?

Weaver, it's how I was taught to shoot growing up.

    BlackArch Holsters' Protos-M

Yeah, I’m very pleased. I was on the fence about concealing a full sized pistol, as I’m only 5’6” and 155 lbs, but this holster makes it easy as can be.

Different Spring Weight in Full Size M&P 9

I've got a full size M&P, not a shield. but no, I recently purchased this gun and the spring looks a bit worn, so I'm going to replace it anyways. I had heard good things about Wolff (i think thats the name) springs so i went to their site and seen they offered different weight options. If there...

Different Spring Weight in Full Size M&P 9

Well that’s kind of what I’m asking lol, wether there would be any benefit to changing spring weight rather than getting another factory weight spring.

Different Spring Weight in Full Size M&P 9

Was planning on replacing the recoil spring in my M&P 9, but got to wondering about going with a different weight spring. It currently has a 16lb spring. I rarely shoot anything other than 147gr. Do you think there would be any benefit to going to a higher or lower weight spring? Or should I...

    S&W M&P 9 2.0 Sub Compact : Thoughts ?

If you like it, buy it! I would buy an apex trigger for it as well, just personal preference. I carry a full size m&p, and used to carry a shield, both with Apex triggers.

The XD-E is dead. Long live the XD-E.

I wouldn't even consider myself "anti-striker", I just prefer to carry hammer fired. Some of it I'm sure is familiarity, I learned to shoot on 1911s, until I was an adult I had never shot any handgun other than a 1911. Then for most of the last decade I've carried nothing but HK pistols.

I'm with you there, I prefer hammer fired pistols period. I think I have two striker fired pistols maybe, my M&P 9 Pro and a G20. Everything else is hammer fired. just my preference though, i got called a trigger snob the other day for saying i preferred hammer fired lol.

The XD-E is dead. Long live the XD-E.

Man, my P2000sk with LEM trigger is hands down my favorite subcompact pistol to carry. I love that gun. that being said, I've never shot the xd-e but I was never a fan of the xds. always seemed to me to be a lot snappier than other guns of comparable size.

    Glock Mags

I prefer to stick with OEM when possible. I've never used a magpul mag in a glock, but I know in my M&P, they didnt sit flush and it irritated tf out of me. That being said, I've used many magpul mags in my rifles without issue. I have used ETS mags before as practice mags. Though as easy as...

    BlackArch Holsters' Protos-M

On the advice of many over on r/guns and r/CCW, I recently purchased a Protos-M Dual-Clip IWB holster from BlackArch Holsters. I purchased this for my new(to me) M&P 9 Pro Series. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about concealed carrying a full sized pistol, as I am a little guy at 5'6" and...

    S&W CSX

Crossbreed does as well. I'm sure more will follow. My shop is right next door to Tulster, a great holster company, and I know they've told me due to supply chain problems they aren't able to make any new holster models at the moment. According to the owner, if they hadnt pre-purchased a few...
