always hard to pass on a blackhawk! I shoot my 1969 3 screw 357 as much as any gun I own, love it.

my first gun was a Glenfield model 60, 22lr. I got it for my 12th birthday. sadly I don't have it anymore. I almost bought one just like it this year, because I didn't have a 22 rifle. I ended up with a savage Semi auto 22 instead. it was just too cheap to pass up, and I'm a savage fan.

no, I don't have those kinda skills. I finally found a 75 year old gunsmith that did real woodwork. my dad did custom woodworking like that, but passed b4 he got to do mine. I never understood why he bought me savage, he got stuck with that stock, thats why.

on my bucket list, ruger sbh in 357 max, 7.5" barrel. one day I will own one.

savage 110L, 30-06. my 18th birthday present, im now 50. my dad bought me this gun, cause he got stuck with that stock. he never got a chance to install it on my gun. I finally got it fitted and finished. its came out quite nice!

one of the best affordable guns imho is a savage bolt action apex or even used a 110. they are pretty cheap, shoot well, and always work. i just got a used rock island 1911 in 45 acp for 300, i think that is cheap for a decent 1911. previous owner had it cerakoted in ugly flat dark earth color...

im a huge fan of pistol cartridge rifles. I have a handi rifle in 44 mag. putting together one that will b 357 mag soon. I like having rifle that shoots the same ammo as the revolver I carry. would like to do the same for 9mm and 45 acp in the future.

i just bought my sister a new 590 persuader retrograde. the wood is kinda dark, but not hideous. fit and finish were decent. i am not a pump action shotgun guy, but it was a pretty nice gun. i traded the new 590 to her, for my dads mid 70s rem 1100 12 ga. we were both pretty happy!
