I used to sell and repair the B-3 20-30 years ago. Taken apart, cleaned and correctly oiled they clear 800fps.
6" hold over on a sparrow at 100 yards and I've hit them often enough to make it worth the try using Crossman Premiers. Stay away from Industry brand pellets as there is no uniformity...
Made an order and had it in 3 days.

I was given a blue streak a few months ago. Looks to be in as new condition. Made in the mid. 70's, don't remember exact year but as collector it has a $150 value. 20cal./5mm, rocker safety.
These are very nice shooting rifles. Don't fall into the weak receiver myth, that's the FR-7.
I traded a paratrooper SKS + $100 for mine. My son liked it so much he got one also. But he got it at a Cabelas for $125 as they thought it was a Bubba'd Mauser, good score for him.
Yep, did the stupid thing and pushed a case into the die when it felt not right.
Sent it to RCBS and got back what looked like a new die but for the marks I had made on it from use. Your out $5 is all.
Hey Einstein, why didn't you get a screwdriver and remove the bayonet lug screw.
You also could have knocked out the drift pins to remove the complete mount.
