Yeah I don't consider them high end and maybe my 1911 was decent because they have to build them to browning specs....but for the $ not as bad as they were 20 years ago....my current attitude is high end will cost min. 2500$ ish but I won't complain with a smith& wesson

I wonder how those weapons would have been with 3 shot burst. I have an m1a loaded (heavier barrel) and it has very little recoil for a 308 I can spot my own shots at 600yds. So it makes me wonder if they would have made some as squad automatic weapons with heavy barrels how that would went.

Yeah I second the carrying those weapons were not fun at all. I was once on a 12 mile ruck and everytime someone fell out we had to split up their gear and carry it. Regardless to say we were in deep sand that day most of the ruck and at the finish I had my ruck 60 lbs. 4 extra m16's a tripod...
