Definitely get the CZ. Rugers are quite common in just about any gunshop you will find here. I dont recall ever seeing a CZ on the shelf of any gunstore I frequent, but I havent exactly been looking for them either.
While MD is terrible with gun laws, at least you will be able to get an AR...
I have one and I like it a lot. It has not been picky in ammo. A fantastic gun for the money.
My one concern is that you say your wife is recoil shy. I will tell you straight up that this gun is more painful to shoot than the 9mm guns I have fired. The straight blowback design has a...
Cool...
Somehow, I always figured Ron Perlman was a shooter. He just seemed too cool not to be:D.
Whats really surprising for me is that Thomas Jane is a shooter. For those not in the know, he played The Punisher in the new movie. From all the interviews I have seen him do he seemed like...
For all those looking to purchase this movie outright, Best Buy has it for $6.99. No, thats not a sale, thats its everyday price! I bought a few copies for friends already. Not a single one has been disappointed by it.
Little different, but still similar...
My friends label me as a firearms "know it all" because I can usually answer all of their very basic questions ("hey, what gun is that?"). Funny thing is, beyond being able to identify firearms and knowing things like make/model/capacity, I know little...
My pro-mag has actually worked better than my factory. I have only had one failure (slide locked back prematurely), but it was with the factory mag.
So go with the promag, they are like a 1/3rd or the factory mags cost.
The Bass Pro at Arundel Mills does carry centerfire as well as rimfire Taurus Revolovers. Before the safety lock law, they used to carry MKII's and Ruger Revolvers.
Wonder if they will ever put the WWB on sale for 3.88 again? I got there the second morning for them and they just laughed at...
The Metal Gear series has become so insanely popular that the production costs per game are more than what a normal japanese godzilla movie cost (about $10 million USD). With such a huge budget, the team was allowed to bring in military and weapons advisors. Actions like enemies clearing rooms...
I work in the Hardware department at Sears and I can tell you 100% that Craftsman's handtools (ratchets, sockets, wrenches, etc.) are still made in the USA (its stamped on all the tools). The power tools on the other hand, are made in other countries. I am also pretty sure that the handtools...
The Shield is my absolute favorite show on television. Guess I can't verify it, but every fan site I have been to has labeled Vic's gun as a 4506. Shane's (Vics partner) uses a Beretta Cougar as his primary weapon.
Also, I dont think any LEO needs to worry about the image the show paints...
I have been under the impression that its a 4506. I dont know if they ever say it in the show, but that is what the fan sites list it as and it seems to fit the bill.
Another cool thing about Chiklis is that he isnt an anti! I have season one on dvd and in the commentaries they get into the...
No, it is not legal.
The rifle must have a certain number of american made parts (its 4 or 5, i think) before you can modify it to accept the hi-caps.
Although I dont think anyone has ever been prosecuted for breaking the import law (922?), I sure dont want to be the first to find out what...
I cant really tell by that pic, but it looks like the mag doesnt have the little lip on it to act as the feed ramp (since the saiga doesnt have a feedramp built in to it). Also the little mag-catch lip looks too thick.
All in all, the vepr mag looks just like any regualr ak mag meaning that...
I guess I'm against the majority...
In that I hope that there is a safety lock as an option. It's not that I like them, just that having one could mean that this pistol is MD compliant. If so, this may be the next gun on the list! :D
My promag fits exactly flush... doesnt stick out at all. It also has functioned better than my factory mag. I am really happy with my promag considering it cost 1/3 of what a factory mag does.
Well a big plus on the locking safety is that the gun will (hopefully) be available for those of us in occupied states.
Has anyone heard about availablility in Maryland?
Yeah, from what I have gathered, there is a bad batch of .40 mags out there. All of the plastic bases are failing in the same areas. Last I heard, Walther was replacing the mags but wouldnt admit that there is a problem.
On Target is one of the most professional gunshops in MD. I purchased my last two firearms from them and they are very thorough. They even have a paper that they make you sign for their own records after going over the operation and safe use of the firearm you purchased stating that they did...
