I need to change the recoil spring on a Star Model D .380. The spring is captive between two flanges on the guide rod, as in the Star Model BM. Can someone please tell me if both of these flanges are pressed and staked, or is one of them threaded? I have put a moderate amount of force on them...

There are several nice Makarov's being advertised an Makarov Trader and on Gunboards Trader today, 1-10. I would buy either of them in a heartbeat if I needed one. Hope you find the one you want, as far as I'm concerned any variety of Makarov is good.:D
