    I wanted to go from 30/06 up to a magnum...had my heart set on a 300 winmag....settled for a Weatherby Vangaurd in 300wsm...I love it it seems to do what both of those great cartridges do...all in one package. Who knows?

    Most accurate out of the box bolt rifle?

    Narrowing it down to only the brand new - out of the box - rifles that i have owned...hands down it has to be the Steyr Mannlicher in 30/06 (Of course most rifles will get better with time if you take care of them properly)

    All of your choices are good... If it were me...I would look into a Factory Reconditioned Sig (226)... Or check out CDNN on the web. They have many used Sigs for around $400 (226, 229, 220)

    There are almost too many to choose from...My AR shoots best with TAP 60gr...Thats my "doomsday"...."living dead" choice. (Also like Black Hills 68gr hp)
