Is it the Model 14, the 65 or the 686 ?...or something else entirely I want to get a quality .38 with a 6" barrel. There is a great looking Model 14 for sale at my club but have been told to hold off for the Model 65, then someone else says the 686..... thanks for any help

S&W seems to be the main choice over here if you are looking for a 6 shot, 4" to 6" barrel in double action. I was just hoping to get something a little bit different to everyone else - I wish Freedom Arms made DA revolvers !

This is most probably a very stupid question but could a high quality gunsmith convert a SA to a DA ? The reason I am asking is that pretty much all the revolver disciplines at my club in Australia require a DA - I would love to be able to buy a Freedom Arms .357 and convert to DA. thanks.....

If I am going to be shooting .22 silhouette is there any advantage in getting the larger framed 83 versus the 97 ? I am told that .22 recoil is negligable and if the 97 can handle large calibres then .22 should be no problem. So ignoring cost as an issue which one would you recommend ? thanks...
