What is the Rolls Royce, money not an issue 9mm ?

oops - forget the Rolls Royce car analogy thing... to answer a few questions asked in the responses above.. why 9mm ? Being based in Australia the largest calibre allowed is the .357 and whilst I am pretty new to to the auto game I have been told the only 2 real options are 9mm or .38...

What is the Rolls Royce, money not an issue 9mm ?

Model SW1911 DK Pistol you know when you post a thread and then wish you had been a little more specific ? Ok, well that applies to me right now....other than the Sig P226 Xfive the other one suggested was a S&W Performance Centre Model SW1911 DK - I know it is a .38 Super and not a 9mm...

Manurhin MR73 build quality declining ??

S&W seems to be the main choice over here if you are looking for a 6 shot, 4" to 6" barrel in double action. I was just hoping to get something a little bit different to everyone else - I wish Freedom Arms made DA revolvers !

Manurhin MR73 build quality declining ??

Hi Someone on this website suggested I look at the MR73 as an alternative to the S&W686 - from the few reviews and comments I found it sounded like a suberbly accurate and high quality revolver. However I then spoke to a dealer and they said that the recent build quality had declined really...

Is it possible to convert a single action to a double action ?

This is most probably a very stupid question but could a high quality gunsmith convert a SA to a DA ? The reason I am asking is that pretty much all the revolver disciplines at my club in Australia require a DA - I would love to be able to buy a Freedom Arms .357 and convert to DA. thanks.....

Freedom Arms .22 Silhouette opinions ?

If I am going to be shooting .22 silhouette is there any advantage in getting the larger framed 83 versus the 97 ? I am told that .22 recoil is negligable and if the 97 can handle large calibres then .22 should be no problem. So ignoring cost as an issue which one would you recommend ? thanks...

    S&W 686 or Colt Python ?

Hi I am just starting pistol shooting here in Australia and the laws are rather more limited than in the US regarding calibres allowed. Basically I believe the largest you are allowed here is the .357 For a good all round gun which allows me to shoot most disciplines that my club runs I...
