I'm embarassed to report that while hunting a couple of weeks ago my buddy loaded .270 shells into his .30-06. Luckily, he didn't get a shot off. He was very lucky. What would have happened if he fired? Obviously, we put some new house rules in effect to make sure this doesn't happen again.
