+1 on SKS.. an type M will even allow use of AK mags so the 10rd fixed mag issue most have with goes away. Other than that, I'd say a Mauser variant or a Mosin variant- yes, it's a bolt gun, but once upon a time they WERE the definitive "assault rifle".

I'm curious too as to what they said. Been reading bunches on the ammo at the Marlin Owners forum and they all seem to love it. Well, other than the fact they have to re-sight the rifle due to the higher vel. impacting higher on target. Believe avg is 6" high at 100yds vs. standard ammo sighted...

Just got a Summit Gunbroker Glock22 w/3 mags priced at $329.. 2nd gen which is what I wanted. Finish shows holster wear, internally very nice. Prime for sending off to CCR for their Holiday Special cera-hide coating. When he gets that list/website going, I'll go peek, may be worth a few bucks...

Glock I suppose since the choices are so limited. But personally perfer FNP-9 and XD's.

I think it's just visual more than anything. Some would say the black stainless is more in tune with the orginal miltary design. Get the one you like best. ;) I personally got the black and so far its one tough finish.

+1.. I also just take about 25% of the cases fresh from tumbling, and One Shot them in a plastic baggie, so every 4th one I just reach in and grab one. After the 3rd case goes through the die, I start to notice a bit of sticky so the One Shot helps. No stuck cases .... yet!

So sad.. of course, it was only a matter of time before this started up again in full force. I posted.. thanks for drawing my attention to it. I think that should be one more reason all the firearm sub-groups should unite quickly. (Hunters, Collectors, Bench-shooters etc.) Once they are done...
