Are you in CO? Watch your local government.

With the removal of state level preemption last year we all knew this was coming, well here it is. The cities of Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville and Superior are all discussing or have passed gun control measures that apply in their city limits. These are the same style of limits that stand...

Denver bans CCW in parks, buildings

Last year the state government removed preemption on all firearm laws as long as local ordinances are more restrictive than state law. This was in response to the Boulder City AWB getting killed in the courts right about the time a disturbed individual shot a bunch of people in a Boulder...

Who Actually Wears Eye Protection - Supplemental Poll

I can remember shooting stuff with a BB gun as a kid and having the balls come straight back off hard surfaces. Didn't even think about glasses then and my dad never used em.

FAL Surplus Metric Pattern Magazines (hen's teeth?)

I picked up a few moses mags just before the CO ban. They are a little fat making them tight in my rifle so I stick to the surplus steel ones. As I recall they fed okay but were too tight so not recommended. Maybe you'll have better luck.

colorado magazine law = becoming compliant

Does lack of enforcement invalidate a law? I don't think it does. To OP the only way to make them compliant is to lower the capacity permanently. Unlikely an option for a pass through the state. You could always get a single 10 or 15 rounder and mail the others home.

    Silencers from a distance

That directional difficulty may be due to hearing the crack of the bullet instead of the rifle. When you hear the bullet the sound is not coming from the firing position.

    OC in Cleveland

Have a link to that statement? Were they admitting to plans to harass citizens that are breaking no law? -- edit to OP, No he should not. If he thinks it is an issue he should spell out his reasoning and make a request. He should not force people to disarm.

Easier to get a Glock FYI

So a less deceptive analogy would be "It is as easy to get a Glock as a bag of coke." Those would come from the same people, if you can get one you can get the other just as easily. For those that wouldn't know where to get the cocaine, getting a Glock is a different process. Of course...

Dallas Mayor Making Noise About Doing Away With Open Carry

    Dallas Shooting

That is their goal after all. I've been waiting for some wacko to go nuts with a lever action. If we get the other side to openly admit that end goal before the step of banning all semis is achieved it makes it that much harder for them. You cannot expect support of those that shoot 10...

    Dallas Shooting

How quickly was he actually shooting, does the self loading part even matter? Could the same damage have been done with plain old bolt action hunting rifle? I'm asking about before he was cornered.

Ohio Professor Offers Gun-Control Solution: "Storm NRA HQ & Make Sure There Are No Su

When is the last time anyone has heard any positive statement about the NRA outside gun circles? How the *censored* did the largest pro firearm group in the country come to the point where it gets as much positive press as the KKK? Any positive press? NRA teaches firearm safety across the...

Jerry Brown signed horrible new gun laws for CA

The CA ammo check plan appears to be a yearly permit which is recorded and checked at time of purchase. That state will keep that database updated incase someone suddenly becomes prohibited. One BG check per year paid for by the owner ($50), more money for the state, more paperwork for anyone...

I'm curious how many in CA are buying all the ammo they can find & afford right now.

    Unreliable Armslist people.

There is no way to weed out the scammers. You wanted to meet, they didn't actually have the gun to sell so no way are they going to meet you.

Why Don't You Just Paint "I have guns inside" on the side of it?

A separate profiling story. WY plates in CA will get you stopped with the first question out of the officers mouth related to guns. Profiling didn't work in that case.
