    It does cost a bit to get a concealed carry permit in NYS, but you do need to weigh that against the fact it is a lifetime permit (unless revoked). No yearly or reoccurring fees. Well, it costs a couple of bucks to add a handgun to your permit, but that's not even ammo money.

    Oh Bother! (as a favorite character bemoans.) Now I have to go look this stuff up. I would have sworn that wings, if not helicopter blades, work by creating a low pressure area above the wing creating lift. Your examples of paper airplanes and incompressible fluids are tough to reconcile...
