Mine eats up batteries pretty fast as well. I don't get into it very often. The batteries get weak enough so that they won't open the latch on the mechanism wide enough to clear the little bar that keeps the door locked.

I have a K9, and I think the trigger is pretty good as is. I haven't handled an Elite model to know the difference. Sorry. I guess I'm no help at all.

Anybody have any experiences, good or bad with this model holster? I've got a "good" holster on order, but I'm thinking about getting a Bianchi 100 for the times when I'm in a hurry, and to hold me over until my holster on order can get done. Any opinions are much appreciated.

Now that they changed the law in Texas, and defined legally travelling, one can carry in the car all the time. They can carry it out of the car only if they have a CHL. The result of the change in the law will no doubt result in more guns being left in cars as a general practice.

This is probably all too true.

If he doesn't get the nomination it'll have little to do with him lying about being drafted. This revelation is coming out waaayyy too early to impact the primaries.
