What would be considered each pistol makers "masterpiece"? That gun that sits apart from all the others, in fit finish craftsmenship, or that has that something unique or special? Not measured by sales. For Example, IMO Walther = to me its the P88 well made, beautiful blued...

My used Ruger LCP - so far so good, 300 rounds, and comfortable in the front pocket. $280 OTD at a Gunshow "walking around". I originally posted this in the Blackpowder section :uhoh: and well they had fun with it.

Got this from a person walking around at a gunshow this weekend. Said the gun hurt the arthritis in his hands. 190 rounds by me so far. $280 OTD. Couldn't pass it up even if I am a beta tester for ruger. Like it so far. Bet there aren't to many out there who own a like new used LCP.

Anybody know if nill grips make the Walther P88 full size feel thicker or thinner as compared to the factory plastic? Particually in the web of the hand? Thanks

Well I scored a MINT NIB, unfired Walther P88 at the local gun show today. Box, 2 15 round mags (one still in its wrap) all the paperwork, $795 OTD Private sale. Couldn't stand not having it for that price... And yes I know this thread is useless without pics...

Slim? the grip felt like a regular 21 grip...almost, certainly not a whole lot of felt difference...If you are a 21 fan now you will like this gun, if you think the 21 grip is too fat, this gun is not likely to win you over... Phooey :uhoh:

The guy said it was old but it had the Eagle Proof Marks and a two letter code FM = 1989? Even has the eagle in the polymer...not seen an old one like this... looks to be in real good shape though...

I have a chance to pick up an FEG SMC 22, which I understand is hard to find...I have a FEG SMC-918 and 380 so I am familiar with the breed of gun, but any opinions of the 22 Long rifle version, This would be a plinker... Thanks
