Great guns, the newer models you just replace the barrel older model must be replaced at the factory. Will try to find serial number for you. Or go to their site and it is on that site or at least was a few years ago.

They are still in business. I have 2 for a 45 govt. and 1 for a compact 45 that I got in exchange for repairing a car. They are both new. Never used them and dont intend to.

There is a reason they are no longer produced. Good concept, But never lived up to the hype. Know of 3 friends who had them and neither were satisfied.
I would shoot it. If a part breaks you can find replacements and as said earlier it is a military arm and probally outlast both of us. But it is yours to do with what you see fit.
