I used use Hornady lock down nuts for my Loadmaster. It's easier to simply buy more turrets and swap them out by caliber. I use a universal decapping die in one turret, and all other calibers (including factory crimp) in seperate turrets.
Thanks for the reply. I have been trying to drop 2.8g loads for .38 Spl./125g bullets, but I can't get the Pro Auto-Disk Measure to drop more than (a very inconsistent) 1.7g average. As I mentioned, the metered insert has been useless; dropping only a tricle of powder to the bottom of each case.
Is anyone else having problems with Trail Boss powder dispensed from a Lee Pro Auto-Disk measure?
The cheerios seem to clog up in the neck of the measure, and even though I gently tap the dispenser before each stroke I am still not getting anywhere near a full charge in .38 Spl. cases.

Gents,
Thank you all for your responses and suggestions. I have tried everything you all suggested as well as all the fixes provided by Larry at Lee Precision, including replacing and adjusting the index flipper. The press simply will not index properly. Larry at Lee finally asked me to...
Uncle Don,
No offense taken - I am grateful for your help.
>>When you put the shellplate back, did you ensure that the ejector pawl is installed with the little tail towards the left side of the press and that the tail is in one of the holes of the shellplate?
Yes, the tail is towards...
Uncle Don,
>>Have you taken the shellplate out and possibly have it installed incorrectly?
Yes, I did remove the shell plate to see if that was part of the problem. As far as I can tell it is installed correctly.
>>The only other thing I can think of outside of carrier alignment is...
>>Did you watch the video at Lee website on adjusting the shellplate carrier if the press is not indexing properly?? It sounds very much like the carrier is not properly set. If not, the shellplate will miss the proper stop point.
Thanks, I did that as descibed in the video and in the manual...
>>Go to Lee Precision's website and check the help videos there...they are much better than what you will find on You Tube.
Thanks, but I did that too; before I called Lee in fact. Same information I already related. For anyone who knows the LoadMaster well - could this be caused by a bad...
>>I don't know anything about Loadmasters but you may find Darwin's videos on Youtube helpful.
Thanks, but been there & done that. His very helpful videos basically talk about doing the same things I have already tried. There is a video showing the indexing sequence, but there is no...
I don't think that there is anyplace to shoot outdoors in the Conejo Valley. It ois definately illegal to shoot in any of the city and county owned green space, and the SM NRA is out of bounds.
I used to drive into Los Padres National Forest. They closed the Condor Santuary to shooting a...
It's been over 25 years since I last reloaded, but I think I remember the basics well enough. Recently I started shooting Cowboy Action, and realized that I needed to start reloading again to make this affordable. So I purchased a Lee LoadMaster press from Midway in December.
