Recently found an old S.W. .38 CTGE while helping a friend clean, needless to say the owner has passed away, and now we are left with the pistol. Upon inspection the side of the barrel read "38 S.&W. CTGE" The top of the barrel says "Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Worcester. Mass. U.S.A."...

I haven't actually fired it yet and my brother is pretty sure it has never been fired but the only thing that happens when you fire the toy caps is a small piece of the plastic gets lodged into the nipple but it only takes a little poke to get it out...I guess regular caps would be worth it. :o

I got a replica muzzleloader rifle for X-mas and I am too cheap to buy the caps so I was just wondering what all of you thought of the little toy gun caps. They are a little small and split a little bit on the edge when I put them on but other wise are fine. Do you thing they are more corrosive...

Diffrent laser... I know you can buy some smaller lasers for mounting, but if the laser on the pistol is made of sturdy metal and glass it shouldn't be a problem...:scrutiny:
