    Good scale for weighing

I had an RCBS 1010 with a 505 for backup. I purchased a Lyman 1200 DPS to use with rifle loads (weighing every round) and used the 1010 to check it often. I've sold the 505 and pretty much use the Lyman 1200 for everything. Once in awhile I'll check it against the 1010 but very happy with the...

I have quite a few CCI standard LG Pistol primers so I'll duplicate the offer started by Landric >>>OK, given the current situation, I'm going to post this here and see how it goes. I have a brick of CCI Large Pistol primers. I could use them, but I know some people are really strapped for...

    Need once fired brass....

seminole brass I ordered 3500 .38 special last week and it arrived on monday. Spoke with her on the phone prior to placing the order to see how many she could put into a flat rate box. It was a mix of nickel and brass which was not specified on the site but that is fine for my purposes...

    Worst mistake you've made reloading?

I've loaded close to 10k pistol rounds in my dillon 550. Only mistake I've found was one time a shot sounded like a squib. I ejected the round and the bullet was still fully seated in the brass. Scratched my head for a bit and then noticed the primer looked funny. Took a closer look and...

    Number of loads per pound....

As you are accumulating supplies it's good to have a bit of balance. I like to try and keep my powder and primers somewhat balanced. For example, 8lbs of W231 gives me just over 10,000 .45 loads (10,181 at 5.5gr). It makes more sense (to me anyway) to get 2 cases (5k/case) of primers for each...

Looks like Utah will stop issuing out of state permits

I could see them getting rid of NR permits since they already recognize any other state's carry permit. The only reason to get a NR Utah permit is for the other states it covers.

    One Handgun per Month: CT

ummm... you missed a part: Sec. 2. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2007) (a) On or after October 1, 2007, no person who is not a licensed firearms dealer shall purchase more than one handgun within any thirty-day period, except as provided in subsection (b) or (d) of this section. For the...

    One Handgun per Month: CT

They are replacing a section of existing law. Section 1 is already in effect. Section 2 is the new part. After Oct. 1, 1995 you needed a CCW (or eligibility cert.) to purchase a handgun.

    The problem with "Gun Control"

I was bored on a rainy saturday morning and put some thoughts down on paper: The problem with “gun control” There are so many laws on the books that are either not enforced already or even when enforced; deals are brokered to reduce penalties for violations of those laws. Everyone...
