    Dick's Sporting Goods...I don't like it.

Dicks sux I worked there.....problems as follows: You can be fired for having a personal weapon anywhere on store premisis, including the parking lot. Corporate sends out ads based on what should be in stock, not what is in stock, thus leading to angry people. In my state, you are exempt...

    .44 mag loads for deer

I'm looking for some good .44 mag loads that will be lethal on deer. They will be fired in a 4" ported taurus mod. 44, and rocoil is not a problem. I would prefer something with fairly low muzzle flash. I want to try the barnes X pistol bulltes, so has any one had experience with it?

hello You are shooting a stage weak hand and the little spring-thingy that holds your glock slide release breaks on shot 3 of a 6-shot string. You then clear the jam left handed and finish. Shoot the rest of the day, which includes three slide lock drills, without a slide lock........Bang...

    Spartanburg, SC IDPA- first time

Me thinks... I think we agree....my problem with the course of fire I was on is that "Experienced" people were shooting to slide lock and reloading while looking at an un-engaged target from caround the cover, not behind it. What was happening was there would be 2 targets engaged on the run...

    Glock Plug Legal?(IDPA)

I have a "Slug Plug" installed in my Glock 23. It is a plastic one, and does not increase the wieght of the 23. It does extend slightly beyong the grip, just enough so that it is equal with the base of an in-place mag. Is this legal for SSP division in IDPA? I couldn't find anything in the rule...

    Spartanburg, SC IDPA- first time

slide lock I agree that slide lock is a real issue in combat, but something I have learned in shooting and in martial arts is that you react the way you train. I admit that right now, in an adrenaline charged situation I would slide lock. But if I train to Relaod/retain ammo, then that is what...
