Just wondering what is the worst revolver you have ever owned and why? I once acquired a well used Iver Johnson .22 that had a bad cylinder that would seldom line up correctly with the barrel. Kinda dangerous when pulled the trigger .:cuss: Worked ok after replacing the cylinder.
I shot a Remington model 1100 12 gauge auto that had a terrible hot gas blow back problem. The hot gas burnt my eye badly :fire: when the spent shell was ejected. Learned to wear shooting glasses pretty quickly. The gun worked well except for that. Any suggestions as to what was wrong or a...
Hi Tark, Thanks for your information and reply. Good to know shooting different .22 cartridges in it is ok, but accuracy, etc.will vary widely. Definitely a good idea to try different cartridges, loads, etc. to see which this old gun likes best.

Anyone see a problem shooting .22 long rifle ammo in an 1885 Winchester short Lo Wall single shot round barrel rifle? Enscription on rifle says it is made for 22 short? The long rifle ammo seems to fit o.k.

Are there any brands/models/sizes that seem to be easier to pull back?
Is there...
Someone I know has a Smith-Wesson 28-2 with a 6 inch barrel for sale and wants $375.
It seems to be in average condition, some loss of blueing .
Anyone out there had any experience with this model?
Does that price seem reasonable? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.
