Got one and have been very satisfied with it. Have only put 230 grain lead round nose and fmj round nose through it but it's been 100% reliable with them. Thought the USA grip was a bit gaudy but an order to VZ grips fixed that. Accurate, well made, and completely reliable has been my experience.

In answer to your original question, I use an RCBS Little Dandy. I've never had a problem although I do throw the powder while the cases are in a tray and then eyeball all of them for consistency before seating a bullet. That might be an option for you if you remain unsatisfied with the Lee.
