Two stories come to mind.
Once upon at a range, an inexperience shooter walked into the range. Broke every rule in the book. Painted myself, my girlfriend and my friends several times. When I told him to stop, he looked flustered and told me it was his first time, so it was ok. Then he...
For the longest time I loaded 5.6 grains of 231 with 230 fmj and it was the middle ground for .45 acp. I just got some time again and start reloading again, so I checked winchester's website for uptodate information. Surprisingly, I think the load ranges have changed a bit. I tend to go toward...
I understand the requirements and it looks like I'm all set on that.
I've always been a WWII buff, and while not so much now, I find myself wanted to get a garand before they disappear. While I know that springfield makes a garand, there's just something about owning a piece of history...
I've used spector/cqb solutions slings for the same purpose as you. But, I'm not sure if they are really ambidextrous, the sling is mounted off to the side of the mag tube so that the shotgun won't torque upside down when you drop it. I think it might be reversible but it's not something you...
Talked to them earlier today to two different reps. One mentioned that the expander powder die won't be avaliable until late december. The other, seemed to be a bit more knowledgable, said that it's on the books, but he hasn't seen any record of it going to be avaliable yet. Cross your fingers...
Not a drop test, but I remember reading somewhere that a guy dropped his surefire while snowplowing his driveway. Turns out the flashlight when THROUGH the gas snowblower. He found it a few days later, and other than being a bit scratched, it worked fine.

Just FYI, I've been on the fence on ordering the ap press and casefeeder for a while, and I was kicking myself before because people had mentioned that cabela's did have a sale over the summer that included a 50 dollar rebate towards future purchases.
But I finally broke down and ordered a...
Run some searches for 3 point slings. CQB solutions is one of the companies that make then.
They're nice because if they are adjusted correctly, you can simply let go and the rifle/shotgun will just drop to your side. On the reverse you can just pick up the rifle/shotgun and push up, if the...
I think the general consencious is to carry the biggest caliber that you can comfortable shoot.
BUT in this case, these are really three different sized "tools." I guess the 226 and the 220 are very similar but you really should try to get the chance to shoot these, so you can feel the...
I actually found a couple at REI, the material feels like neoprene. Inspite of this, it's was plenty warm, and I was able to utilize all my fingers still. And if it gets too cold, you can just use it as a liner for another thicker glove.

Think last time I ordered ammo from cabelas, .45 acp wasn't on sale but it was very reasonable.... checking now it's 8.99 for 50 rounds and shipping wasn't that bad either.

I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to any service from shipping companies. I have a theory though, ups seems to be horrible on the west coast, fedex seems to be horrible on the east coast. USPS seems to be the most consistient.
A year ago, I purchased some very expensive headlight...
Crosshair could you give me some details about your computer setup that you used to record the show? I've been meaning to put together something similar.

Not to argue but...
1. If you're pulling the trigger it's going to fire, regardless of how much travel there is. The amount of trigger travel is hardly a safety mechanism. Nor should you treat it as such, someone who has the mentality that "I can pull this trigger this far and not have it...
Aker also makes a leather belt with a polymer insert in it to make it stiff. It's listed under their webpage:
http://www.akerleather.com/pages/concealment_other.htm
the b21 and b22, it comes in black as well and you can interchange the belt buckles to other styles. I've had mine for about 4...
I had the same misgivings when I originally began ccwing a sig.
One of my friends told me:
If you're mistrusting the sig to fire when you don't want it to, then you are mistrusting the same mechanism that you are trusting to keep you alive when you need it. If you can't trust it, then what...
