put the factory barrel bushing back on and cycled through 3 clips manually and didnt hang up once. guess I need to work on aftermarket barrel bushing.

the nose is up high in the chamber almost sliding into the barrel and the tail is out of the clip.

Rock Island Gov. 45. Factory clip and Kimber 8 round clip. Winchester 185 grain fmj , win sup 230 grain jhp. new grip safety thumb safety barrel bushing and hammer.

Rock Island. I used the factory clip and a new Kimber clip that I shot a few rounds through in 2 different rock island 45s of the same model.

Ive looked through the posts and have found a million ways to solve what I think is my problem but Its not an every time thing. If I work the slide slowly the round dives down and hits the feed ramp straight. If I pull it back and let go the round looks like it hangs up on the top of the barrel...

I did it with a little elbow grease and some sand paper. It didnt take much but I took a few hours time to do it right. Made sure it fit properly all the way around. Shot it today and it shoots great, just have some feed problems I have to figure out. I think the ramp is not right.
