Judge Shoob was appointed to the federal bench by Jimmy Carter and is known for his liberal views.
He might be the worst judge GCO could have ended up in front of.
I see they have a new spin on Heller.
McCarthy needs to realize that no amount of gun laws will bring her dead husband back. She should move on with her life.
I did a few months of drug interdiction on my second ship while serving in the Navy. We had a couple of DEA guys on board for the duration and since one of my additional duties was enlisted intel assistant, I got to go on the small boat when we did a boarding so I could take pictures and take...
IDriveB5,
That's a stock mag cap on some of the 870's. When I bought mine it came with a rifled barrel and cantilevered scope mount set up for hunting and the cap w/sling swivel was stock.
I kind of understand your point, but the money these gun-grabbers shelled out will go to a program that will educate the next generation of responsible, lawful firearms owners.
Each of those kids will hopefully grow up and continue the fight for the 2nd Amendment.
Sure, the gun-grabbers...
I normally don't say things like this, but if there was a Superbowl of Stupid, you'd be the MVP. There are several Jewish folks at my gun club and NO ONE would confuse them for the ATF. Just like the rest of us there they enjoy shooting and spending time with other shooters.
Anyhoo ... it...
Exercising my 2nd Amendment Right is in and of itself desirable. That's my answer.
Perhaps that was this man's entire reason for walking down the street with an AK. Maybe he just wanted to exercise his rights.
Listen, I'm honestly not trying to be argumentative here. I don't think we're at...
I understand your question, and I didn't answer the "why" portion because I don't believe there needs to be a "why." It may be circular logic, but "why" would I carry an AK down the street? Because it is my right.
I am a Second Amendment Absolutist of the highest order, and honestly feel that...
You answered your own question. If it is legal and a right, you don't need a goal and it does not have to be necessary.
All of our rights do come with some restrictions but this man was not violating any of them.
This thread is interesting, as it seems to show the difference on how some of...
People need to remember that the Lautenberg Amendment was buried in the Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act of 1997. It made up about one fourth of one page of over 700-odd pages of the bill. Barely any politician read the entire thing, and if they didn't sign it they would have lost some...
I'm leaving for the range in about a half hour.
My sartorial choices today include jeans, sneakers and my best Red Sox t-shirt. I will also be wearing my lucky fishing ballcap.
Understated yet refined ...
The Lautenberg Amendment is an offense against the 2nd Amendment of the highest order, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for ANY politician to vote to repeal it.
No politician wants to be seen as "defending domestic abusers." The first Congresscritter who brings this up will be tarred...
Here's an article from before this man's release (bold mine):
Special occasion? What kind of statement is that? Ridiculous.
And according to this Chief, the undercover cop's job is to get into road rage incidents, pull his weapon and point it at civilians?
Pathetic.
If that were...
