    I need a good deal on a M&P 15 Sport

You may want to look at Woodbury Outfitters. They had a good deal I saw this weekend.

    Looking for knife fighting/disarming training

You could look to see if there is a Krav Maga studio near you, which I am sure there is. Very good real world skills that work. Good luck and be safe!

    Trouble with .45acp handload

One thing you could try is only put 20 or so in your load tray it is easier to confirm the powder level when you don't have to look at so many all at once. I only do about 25 at a time, but I am an error on the side of caution kind of guy. Good Luck!

    XD9 vs M&P9,

I like both a great deal. I do feel the finish on the XD's are superior to the M&P's finish. Also if you are really concerned I would go with the bi-tone XD. I feel like with stock triggers on both the XD is smoother, but that is just my opinion and others may disagree. I have only heard...

    S&W M&P9 Problems

If the double feed only happened one time I would shoot it like crazy and see if it happens again. It could be a couple of things, ammo or operator error, anyway I wouldn't give up on it quite yet. As already mentioned a few other times, the slide chambering a round is a good thing for speed...

My Sig P238 is a Finicky Eater, Now What?

I would try a different kind of ammo, my experience is blaser is not the best with the aluminum casings. Try the white box before you entirely blame it on the mags and the gun. Some guns just don't like certain ammo, and is it blaser brass or aluminum case blaser?

Looking for a new fullsize steel pistol

I have a SA Magnum Research (IMI) Baby Eagle in 9mm, a CZ-75 clone it is a fun gun, I am always surprised how fast, smooth and accurate it is especially after shooting .40 and .45. You may be able to find a used one (SA) for a fair price, but the newer ones are usually DA/SA. The CZ-75 is hard...

    Full-sized autos for CCW.

I really think it depends you have to do what works for you, my favorite off duty carry is a XD45compact, I think it is the best of both worlds, essentially a full size, but with a compact grip, still a fairly high capacity. For me anything 5-1/4" in height or under is concealable with most...

    JHP vs FMJ for Defense.

hinton03- My point is that NATO countries follow the Hague guidelines, because they think it is more "humane" as you put it. I am saying that is exactly why we should use hollow points because they work better to stop a threat by causing more damage to them, ie making their breath or blood leak...

    JHP vs FMJ for Defense.

I may be misinformed, but I believe the reason NATO countries use the FMJ is because they are less likely to mortally wound a person and more likely just to incapacitate the soldier by passing through. Hence taking 2 or 3 shoulders out of the fight in caring for the wounded. If you are all...

    Military crimp

I am a little cheap so I just use a drill and countersink, it works just fine for me.

How good are inespensive High Noon holsters?

I use to have the "Hidden Alley" for a PT111, the truth is I really never tucked my shirt in with it, still printed too much. The "Bare Asset" is what my XD45C rides in and it is great, I have been using it for about 2-1/2 years and I am definitely ready for a new one, but it has been great...

CC Pistol ( Help me decide)

J-Frame I am not a revolver guy by any stretch, but for pocket carry a J-frame revolver will fit the bill. You could try to check out the 642 club on this site, endless info and plenty of people to answer your questions about them. The reliability of a revolver is tough to beat when you are...

Help me find a carry gun before I go nuts, please :-)

A few things, first of all others have touched on concealing a larger handgun without any problems. I am not a Glock fan by any means but the G19 is probably one of the best in my opinion for a carry gun. The reason I say that is it has a small enough grip you can keep it concealed with the...

I dont understand AR sighting in....

It is interesting that the Charles Daly and the Bushmaster manuals are almost exactly identical. Thanks for the info, I am looking forward to sighting in my new AR.

Whats a good duty weapon for me?

Well I did not vote, but what I would suggest is to also check out the M&P .40, I use it as a duty weapon and think it is a pretty nice way to go. The recoil is next to nothing and for me it fits much better than a Glock at least for my hands. Also the interchangeable backstraps are nice. I...

    3 9mm to test shoot?

XDm9 I am a little surprised no one has mentioned the XD it is similar to the Glock, but a little better ergonomics in my opinion than the Glock. The M&P is also great you could go with the full size or compact you will not notice much difference between the 2 sizes. The full size will be...
