According to the TC website, the R-55 Benchmark has a tighter match chamber and is a bit more selective about ammo, i.e., no CCI Stingers etc; the Classic should be immune from ammo problems. Sam

Glass & pillar bed the stock blueprint the action, lap the lugs, check barrel crown, etc. That will turn a fine shooting rifle into a tack driver. you don't need to do this, it's just something I like to have done.

Will an old (1960's) Remington SA BDL stock fit my new Remington CDL SF in 300 WSM? Would my fluted 300 WSM barrel be to large for an old short action stock and if so would it hold up to the pounding of a WSM cartridge? Thanks, Sam
