    Volume measures to get close?

So do you use the Lee Perfect to throw powder into the weight pan, then set the pan on the balance, then trickle? How much variation would there be in just the Lee Perfect? Could I get 68 plus or minus 1 grain?

    Volume measures to get close?

Is it practical or safe or 'good' to use a volume scoop of powder to get close, then a trickler to get exact weight charges? If so, where do I get scoops to set up a 68 grain load of magnum rifle powder?

    270 Wby Mag Load Lookup

If it is not too much trouble, could someone give the powder charge and velocity for a Sierra Gameking 150 grain bullet with IMR 7828 powder in the 270 Weatherby Magnum? I have many reloading manual pages but not from Sierra. Thanks in advance.

Well I am alive and well in Charlotte, now I need some range recommendations!

There was a great gun store in downtown Charlotte. Carolina Sporting Arms, I think. You take the lower loop past the stadium headed east, then get off at South Blvd, IIRC. About five streets south, there is a dead end right hand turn. Now that was a good store. Real nice shotguns, rifles...

    Road Rage Confrontation

Seems like I read a story like this before. The details are slightly different, but the idea was the same. Wonder where I read it?

    Trunk Gun?

My reason for a trunk gun is simple. I want to be prepared to help the authorities in the event of any terrorist activity. Living near a target building, working within sight of the building, makes me more sensitive to the potential need for immediate response. I too fear loss of weaponry...

    Curious--Leather or Kydex?

Leather squeaks against the leather belt. Leather discolors (lighter tan Galco). Kydex seems the way to go. Did you look at Comp-Tac?

Intimidated to own a 1911? Me too.

1911 are incredibly appealing, beautiful, and classic. But, is there another pistol with the same basic action that might be simpler in construction, more modern in design, and at least as reliable? IMHO, yes. What I like about the 1911 is the SA trigger and thumb safety. So, I compared...

    Holosight

If you put one on, don't forget to consider adding a lace-on cheek pad (www.blackhawk.com) to align your eye with the high sight position.

Anybody ever used truck-bedliner on a set of grips?

Rhino, as you probably know, is polyurethane. It would seem possible to coat grip panels with the stuff, but you would probably have to create a simple holding jig out of wood. Using a scrap of wood, and a nice sheet metal screw with a head just the right size for the grip panel hole, you...

The only Browning I can think of with a bayonet is the BAR. 1928.

    Beretta Xtrema Optic Problem...Need Ideas!!!

Wonderful shotgun. Want to shoot slugs. Purchased Beretta optic mount for receiver. Found optics were very high, and I needed to raise cheek off the stock to align the sight. Tried Holosight and some 1 inch rings. No good. So, what could I lace, tie, wrap, velcro, or tape on the...

    Blood Work: Clint Eastwood

I've wondered if it is another model of the 627, but there aren't that many. I guess I'll have to rent the movie to see!

    Blood Work: Clint Eastwood

Revolver Model 627-3, reportedly. Performance Center made for Lew Horton, a major S&W distributor. Some folks say it has a fluted cylinder, which was not standard on that model. It is 8 shots, and comes with full moon clips for speedly reloading.
