So tell me why I should leave Phoenix, AZ for Boise, Idaho

All the natives of Boise have it right. I wish I could comment on the Fishing and Hunting, but I haven't been fishing for a while and I am now just getting into hunting (thanks to my girlfriend of all people :)) Right now is a good time to buy a house if you can. The housing market is...

Stoeger Cougar 8000: looking for opinions

I'm suprised more people don't have one, It's cheap and scary accurate. Not to mention the rotating barrel design is very interesting, if I was an avid gun collector with money to spare I would pick one up just for that fact alone.

Stoeger Cougar 8000: looking for opinions

The Stoeger Cougar was my first hand gun purchase, a 21st birthday present to myself. After have putting close to 1,000 rounds through it, I could go with this as my only hand gun I ever buy. I would really only like to add a nice 1911 to my collection of fire arms. I've shot quite a few...

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

I thought about this before I started. My orignal plan was I got my ears pierced (had one done when I was 13ish and so at the beginning of the year I got my other one done) and I wore fake plugs to give the look that I had them really stretched. I wasn't going to go any farther then that but I...

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

Thanks Huff, that is probably where I will end up buying them from, whenever it is. I stand corrected, I forgot where I read that it was rim fire, I think I was getting it confused with another round. I will be back with pictures just incase :)

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

I'll try to remember to post pictures when I get there. I'm at an 8g which is 3.2mm, I'll have to go to 6g, 4, then 2, which is 6mm. It's usually a good idea to wait atleast a month in between so you don't really screw up your ears. What would be the best way to deadened the primer? Either of...

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

I know how well this is not going to go over here but.... I'm stretching my ear lobes, I think it would be sweet to put a casing in them, not very many people have done that. Since I don't plan to go very big since it is permant, I would like them to shrink to a some what normal size if they...

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

Sweet, thanks guys. I think either of those would work well. I think with the hornet I could neck it down at the base small enough, I don't know if the .25ACP would have enough brass to neckit down, however it is close enough to the size I'm looking for that I wouldn't have to. Thanks again.

Smallest moderately easy to find centerfire caliber

Hey Guys, I know this is a weird question. I'm wondering what the smallest caliber center fire round would be? I'm looking for something fairly cheap, I only need a couple rounds. I did find a thread where someone mentioned the 2.7 mm Kolibri which is perfect, however the only information I...

    Anyone heard of gunclip depot

Anyone purchase any Beretta Cougar clips off these guys? For their 15 round 9mm clips the prices are decent as long as they're not Pro-Mags.

    Question about the Beretta 8000.

I just bought a new one (Stoeger). For the price it's a helluva deal. I picked mine up for 328$ Just about everyone I hear with one says it's really accurate for it's size. The Cougar is interesting because it's one of the few pistols that uses rotating barrel system. This will tell...

    Beretta (Stoeger) Owners...

I haven't been able to compare the Stoeger to a Beretta but from what I can see it's solid. I like the shot glass Idea, it looks like it should hold the same amount. Maybe someday I'll use it as a cookie cutter, hehe.

Hey Guys, Just bought my first hand gun the other day (Stoeger Cougar 9mm $328) and something that came in the case I am not sure if it has any real purpse. I attatched a picture of it from one that I found on Gunrbroker. It's the round thing with the Beretta logo. Is there a purpose to...
