I do have a related question. In several counties, the CCW application requires the applicant to supply the make, model, and serial number of his/her handgun. This is clear firearms registration. How are sheriffs able to get away with when it is in conflict with state law?

Yup. The shotgun was unfired and brand new when I got it. When I returned it, the shopowner said that he had had many of this many of these returned with similar complaints. After that, I went to Wally World and bought a Mossberg Maverick for $165 and haven't had a single problem with the gun.

I've yet to encounter another shotgun that would discharge a shell while trying to unload the weapon.

Complete and utter junk. Not to mention safety concerns due to the poor quality of the gun. If you want an inexpensive shotgun, just get a Mossberg Maverick.
