Rationalization
I see that the rationalization has started in
ernest.
"Which Bob Serva himself has promised to maintain
and expand"
What a joke. As any employee knows that has been
on the bought out side of a merger, what Bob says
means absolutely NOTHING. It's not up to Bob. He...
It is nothing personal. It is just BUSINESS.
"CZ-USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent
company, Ceska Zbrojovka a.s. Uhersky Brod, (CZUB)
of the Czech Republic."
Very interesting.
I was an employee at a company during one of these
mergers and have watched friends at other...
Hi All:
One of my '1911 project guns in 9mm'. Here is
a Springfield that Jim Hoag did for me in the
very early 1990s for Steel Challenge shooting.
Picture 1:
Hoag's black oxide combat finish. Original
slide stop still parkerized. Kings trigger.
Checkered front strap that I...
Hi All!!
Jim Hoag Norinco 1911 .45acp:
I married a Chinese girl and I am a devout
1911 fan. I figured, if anybody should have a
Chinese 1911 it should be me. Back when the
guns first started being imported, Jan
Libourel wrote a glowing report on the gun in
the now defunct...

If you have a Windows computer with ME or
better you have Microsoft Image Editor. You
can use it to resize your image for posting
to the internet. It is very possible that
your camera also came with software for your
computer to resize pictures. There are many

Educated Guess:
That gun is made in the Philippines by
Armscore. It is too much of a coincidence
that the trigger is identical to Armscore's.
The guns are already imported into the USA
under the names of RIA, Armscore and Charles
Daly.

This is a new one on me. I did a search on
Yahoo and came up with nothing. Where did you
hear this? Is there a web sight you can point
me to?
Went to their North America web sight.
http://www.eaacorp.com/index.shtml Nothing
there.
My guess: It doesn't exist or hasn't...
Strange market forces going on here that I do
not understand.
I can buy a totally bitchen industrial grade
3/4" hammer drill for a fraction of the cost
for a 1911. The drill has a very intricate
motor and precision bearings, not to mention
the hammer mechanism which requires...
cordex:
Cordex - "Don't be that guy". You know, the
one in the TV advertisements. You went out
and did a search for the other brands. Do one
for Wolf. There are at least six different
gun forums out there that I regularly go to.
Many have a section just for ammunition. Go
find...
Without the right 'tools', some jobs just
can't be done. Statistics is a tool that the
scientific community uses to look at the big
picture. Simply a way of looking at the
forest without getting confused by the
individual trees.
While there are problems posted about other
brands...
It obviously requires more than common sense
to be the plant engineer or he wouldn't be on
the payroll making more money than just about
everyone else.
It will also require more than common cense
to fix Wolf's quality problems. It will
require a degreed engineer using tools like...

For awhile, I will refrain from responding
until the Wolf propenents post something NEW,
other than the same old tired: I haven't had
any problems, therefore there isn't a
problem.

Minute_Of_Torso:
No offence taken.
As one engineer to the other, I guess this is
a Mexican standoff. You say the burden of
proof is on me and I say the burden of proof
is on you.
Fine, I can live with that even if I do
misspell peer. My point is that this thread
is one of MANY...
Minute_Of_Torso:
As an engineer, you are held to a higher
standard and MUST explain why there are more
problem posts from the 'average user' about
Wolf than all other brands combined.
The lack of complaints to all other brands
combined is conspicuous by its absence!
You as an...
I don't understand why people get so
hysterical about Wolf ammunition when someone
reports a problem. This is really puzzling to
me as an engineer.
This is a subject that has been addressed so
many times on the internet that there is a
large database of reported problems. Ignore...
"There's three kinds of people. Them that
learn by readin'... Them that learn by
watchin' and doin'...and then there's them
that's gotta piss on the electric fence for
themselves."
-Will Rogers-
There are countless threads like this about
Wolf ammunition. For some reason they ALWAYS
turn into a flame war. When someone reports a
problem, there are always people who act like
religious zealots and get very emotional that
a problem was posted.
Funny how I have never seen a...

Have you tried one of the magazine loader
tools out there? You can get MUCH more
leverage to push the cartridges down in the
magazine. Saves a lot of wear and tear on
your fingers.
