Do S&W Model 10 Revolvers Still Sell Well?

NYSDOCS still issues model 10's, atleast for another year, then we are going to the troopers old glocks. If you haven't noticed our old duty ammo getting closed out, the 110 gr REM SJHPs. Our department payed 36 dollars a box for that ammo, which was mainly the only reason we switched to the...

No, serial doesn't have CSPD as a prefix, they are marked on the right side above the rail with "CSPD" followed by a 4 digit number. They are 5906tsw. Smith and wesson DOES indeed still sell this model, and they still do have parts. They are excellent guns and a value around the 400 price i see...

    S&W model 10

I said it in a previous post, just picked up a 10-6 with about 95% original finish, later 60's gun, serial number range in the c904xxx range. Timing is perfect. Just put it on hold until my paperwork clears for 215 out the door. The day after that the local store by me had a 10-5 that had...

You'd be surprised about pd trade ins, or ya may just get lucky. I just picked up a s&w 10-6 w. about 95% original finish, great timing, numbered grips and a fantastic trigger for 215 out the door. It isn't a PD gun, but they are out there.

Online Ammo Orders - .38 Special

For range shooting pretty much any weight will work. Buy what's cheap and go with that. As far as reman, opinions may vary but I'd be from a reputable dealer. Gun show reloads are a NO-GO in my book.

Open carry holster for Ruger P95 w/ rail?

Normally a level 2 retention is a duty holster, the biggest name in retention holsters is safariland. If you are just looking for a thumbreak id check galco, as they are one of the few that specifies a holster for the p95 w. the rail. Also, enjoy the p-95, they are a fine weapon.

Walther PPK or Sig 232 for reliability?

My interarms ppk isn't the greatest as far as reliability either, I haven't heard anything bad about the 232. Just my own observations.

    Chamber loading a SIG

I'd advise against it, I know it isn't particularly good for a 1911. I can't say 100 percent in regards to the sig, but it's just not a good habit to get into in general. Just load from the mag and then top off the mag.

Ranger t or hydra shok .380 ammo

I would probably opt for the rangers. FMJ is also viable in .380 as well. As far as legal ramifications for using black talons ! :banghead:
