I personally really like XS sights, and just bought a set for both my Hi Power and for my 1911.

You may also want to look at Charles Daly's 1911s, which are also Armscor guns but come with extended beavertail, skeletonized trigger/hammer, etc. Creature comforts, so to speak, and only marginally more expensive than RIAs. I like mine. :)
