One way I thought I could tell is if the shooter has his finger off the trigger. Most thugs don't know anything about gun safety so they are on the trigger waving the gun around. Holding guns sideways or crooked!
I can tell folks who train with their weapons by the way they carry themselves...
I'm sure when you get it back it will be good to go!
Sometimes they just need a little tweak.....that's why we have that break in period!
Always a huge disappointment when you are discouraged about the performance of a new firearm though.
Good luck
After much trial and error for the past 8 years of owning Sigs, Glocks, Smiths, Berettas, the perfect carry gun is the Kahr PM9 for me personally. I've tried all kinds of expensive holsters too.
For my body type it's what conceals the best and I shoot it very well.
I don't like .40 cal guns of any type......For me it's either 9mm or .45ACP
I just love the way both of them feel.
That being said both my wife and I love Glocks among several other guns!
Ideally a 9mm is perfectly fine in the summertime and during winter months is really when you might wanna bump up your caliber to penetrate thicker clothing.
That being said I am perfectly comfortable and confident having a 9mm at my side all year round.
That Walther PPS also wins the award gun uglier than a Glock too! LOL!!!
I actually would love to shoot one!
@ CLOCHRIDGE Out of the three you mentioned I personally would probably go with the Glock.
The P232 feels unbalanced to me personally.
But what YOU need to do is go and feel all...
I have never owned a Browning.....but I have held several and they always feel great in my hand.
A friend of mine who knows guns inside and out said that the Browning although shoot better they do require a bit more maintenance. That would be the only drawback for me.
But if you have the...
Never shot the MK-9 but my main carry gun is the PM9....I switched from a G19 to the Kahr.
When I first got the PM9 it did feel a little awkward to shoot coming from being used to a Glock for many years but once I kept practicing with it at the range it became more and more comfortable!
I LOVE...
Resurrecting an older thread here but I was reading some more stuff on the Tomcat.
That is what my wife carries and I am not sure how much I trust it.
Her first Tomcat had a cracked frame. At first I thought it was jamming up on her because she might be limp wristing. Then I thought it...
I wonder how much of this opinion about Glock triggers has to do with people mainly basing it off newer Glocks were the triggers aren't even broken in yet?
The trigger on my Glock was a little stiff when I first got it but now it is smooth to me.
The ONLY thing I don't like about Glocks is their thickness. Then again if I got rid of my love handles I could probably hide them much easier.
I have a 3rd Generation Glock that I bought brand new several years ago and it has never malfunctioned once.
They are AMAZING guns.
