Loose Thumb Safety on Taurus PT1911

Ambi Safety I would get rid of the ambi and convert to single-sided safety. Ambi safeties are not as durable as single sided safeties and are prone to breakage. I am left-handed and will not have an ambi safety.

    Mitch Rosen Products

Any comments or experiences with the Mitch Rosen company/products? Thinking about buying a holster and accessories. Heard good reports. They seem to have been in business for awhile. Don't know anymore than that. Thanks.

    .380 recommendation

I have the Sig P232 in blue (allow frame, steel slide) which is outstanding. It fits easily in my front pants pocket, is lightweight, controllable, and reliable. It is the BMW of .380s. Thernlund is spot on with his observations of the Sig P232. If you go to the Sig Sauer web site you will...

    I just bought a Sig

Sig P226 Love your first picture, man! It just now became my wallpaper. Now I have to go out and buy one to complement my P228. I'd pay what you did for that in a heartbeat. Guns are an investment. Take care of it and buy at least two more to go with it. Congratulations

Best guns, holsters and techniques for left-handers?

Thanks for investing time in your thoughtful reply Grampa. Also, thanks for welcoming me to this forum. Funny you should mention that you mostly carry a Sig P239 IWB, and also have a P229. Would love to hear what calibers they are. I am at a crossroads. I can commit 100% to carry and...

Best guns, holsters and techniques for left-handers?

Thanks For Your Post Grampa... Since I am left-handed and own a Colt Series 80 with a single-sided safety for right-handers, your post is music to my ears. I had a professional install an Ed Brown ambi safety that kept working loose. I got tired of this and converted back to the more durable...
