I'll second the vote for HogueAuction.com. Great prices and I haven't had any issues with fit, although I'm terrible at getting that screw in the bottom of the grip to catch without lots of trial and error.
Anyway, I seem to remember checking the site every week or so waiting for J-frame...
I just ordered a pair of P225 grips from TopGunSupply. I know that the P226 and P225 grips are listed separately on their website. The zoomed pictures of each look different as well. Sorry I can't help more.
I've been very happy with my In-Cognito Deluxe IWB holster from Garrity's Gunleather. The suede backing makes it very comfortable.

I'm gonna bump this one back up. I was stuck at my inlaws in Hickory for Thanksgiving and unlike ScottsGT I didn't even have Internet access! :banghead:
Does anyone know of a range in the Statesville & Hickory area? It would make my wife very happy to not have to listen to me complain...
On Sale at B&N
Just a bump to let ya'll know that my local Barnes & Noble has the hardcover Pale Horse Coming reduced to $6ish. It was in the bargain books area near the front of the store. If you haven't picked this one up, now's your chance.
My first pistol was a Series I. I had a few problems with it, nothing major. The plunger tube fell off and I had to replace the Slide Stop to get the slide to lock back consistently. But overall, just stuff that could be easily taken care of.
My real pet peeve is with the design though...
I love the pants for winter and the shorts for summer.
They are well constructed and affordable... The elastic waist works well for IWB holsters.
But the best feature for me is the cell phone pocket on the right leg. If I need my phone, I don't have to go searching through a cargo pocket or...
Not to detract from what everyone else has said, but this is Elizabeth City, North Carolina we are talking about.
"The Daily Advance is published in Elizabeth City, N.C., and serves an area of five mostly rural counties in the northeastern corner of North Carolina. They include Currituck...
Go for it. For $130 and not having to drive, fly or pay for a hotel room, it's hard to go wrong. I took my CCW class there as well as several of the follow up courses and was very satisfied with them.
At the time (5 years ago) the step classes didn't mention anything about IDPA, just...
I've been very happy with my P-01. I'm not quite as accurate with it as I am with my 75BD, but that is probably due to the longer barrel and sight radius on the 75BD. My one issue is that the accessory rail makes the gun a little wide feeling when carried IWB, which is my preferred method. I...
I've read them and enjoy them. I'm saving One Shot for the beach in a few weeks. Suspension of disbelief is important.
The Reacher books to me seem to borrow more from Heroic Fiction than anything. Almost like a Conan the Barbarian in the 21st Century type of thing. Fun to read, but how...
I have no problem with the hammer strut, but this step:
"-Remove the receiver by pulling it forward and out"
drives me crazy with mine. Maybe someone much stronger than I could remove it just by pulling, but for me, it usually takes a rubber mallet and lots of frustration before I can get...
The decocker on a CZ is a decocker only, not a safety.
I have two CZ's, a P-01 and a 75BD and recently got a CDNN FN Hi-Power.
In my opinion, the Hi-Power is a much better $400 pistol than the CZ's are.
The FN just feels slimmer and better balanced in my hand. It carries more comfortably in...
I have a Wild Bill's "Covert Carry" IWB holster for my Detective Spcl (Wild Bills). It was made for the SP101 and is a little bit loose, but since it is an IWB it is not a problem.
But this makes me wonder, why in the world is Ruger making a 5 shot revolver in the space that 6 shots will...
I've been very happy with the quality of everything I've bought from Wild Bill's. The last thing I ordered from him was a Classic Speed Scabards for my CZ P-01, it was several months before I received it, so you may want to check his lead time before you order.
Since I'm impatient, lately...
I've been lurking here lately, but I had to register just so I could reply to this post.
I attended a small rural private school in NC. Graduated in '92
Plenty of rifles and shotguns in the parking lot, especially during hunting season. I remember rifles being worked on in shop class...
