how much should a glock26 cost?

Online you should be able to find the 'base' model for around $500 Adjustable sights add $20, Glock Night Sights add $50 Plus if you buy from out of state, you don't pay sales tax, but you do pay a transfer fee. HTH -Ted

    ccw

I own one of those, and it's the most god awful thing to shoot I've ever come across... Like others have said, try to rent some of the ones you're considering to get a feel for what suits you the best. HTH -Ted

    Sig 239 maybe

Effective concealment is more a choice of holster and apparel than gun, IMHO. I think either will work for CCW just fine, the better question is which feels better to you? If both were the same, I'd go Sig for reliability and better warranty... But I'm a Sig dealer, so I'm a little biased a ;)

    Thoughts on Sig Sauer 220?

The 220 Carry's in particular were having some issues with the internal extractors. Mind you it was a small percentage, but a big enough one that Sig redesigned the extractor and changed it for all the 220's. Now the external extractor is standard. Buy the 220 with confidence. If it does have...

    Make your own holster?

Here's the IWB holster I made for my Sig X5 All-Around: It's really not that difficult, it just takes time. I modeled it after a Milt Sparks VMII I have for a 229.

    Sig 232

Yup, I completely agree. I only meant that if you were thinking about one gun to carry, the 232 probably wouldn't top the list when it comes to Sig (when comparing it size-wise to a 239). The 232 is much slimmer, and personally I like the feel of the grip much better than the 239. I really don't...

    FN FiveseveN Warning *Picture Heavy*

Wow. If this had happened with factory ammo, I'd be much more inclined to fault the gun. There's a reason why reloads void warranties. Hope everything heals up as good as new. JMO -Ted Oh and if they give you a deep discount on a new one, take them up on it, even if you don't want it. Sell it...

    Grips for Sig

Just a thought, the Sig grips are pretty thick as well--it's a necessity with wood. I've never cared for the feel personally, but love the looks. I'm not sure about the Nills, but I'd imagine they're on the thick side as well (in comparison to polymer grips). Sorry I don't have any other...

    How Many?

Oh that made me smile. I remember the first time I shot a glock, well I guess that was the the first time I shot an auto (many many years ago) I did the same thing and lost some blood. -Ted

    Sig 232

As far as accuracy...it's a Sig, and they are dang fun to shoot... As for carry, it's close enough in size to the 239 that most would probably opt for that. Personally, I'd carry it as a BUG, by then I like to carry full size guns. If you're interested in pricing on 232's drop me an email...

    Question: Two-Tone vs...

They're the same thing except for one's black and one's not. Both are made in Stainless Steel. And yes, you can swap slides. I've dropped an 226 slide on an All Around frame, made for a cool looking gun.

    FN Five-seveN

I'm just ticked that FN jacked their prices up. :p

    Draw to fire time

Another interesting drill is to have another person stand with their back to the shooters back. At the buzzer, the other person runs away from the shooter and drops something when the shot goes off. (remember, they're facing in opposite directions). Then you can turn around and see how far away...

    Sig Wisdom Needed

In order of most probable to least (based on popularity and availability), you probably shot the 226 229 239 228 225 If you looked at the mag, the 226, 228 and 229 have double stack mags while the 225 and 239 have single stacks if that helps. Also, if the gun had a beavertail, that makes it...

Limited Editions just out Here's a few limited editions I just got in. Thought you all might like to see them: 226 Limited Edition, 9mm, DA/SA, Night Sights, 2 mags: Slide similar to Equinox, but 'ground polish' goes across the top of the slide as well. Really sweet looking...

sig 220 or kimber covert or colt gov 1911

I think it's safe to say that Kimber is a mixed bag. It seems to run 50/50 as to reliability. If you go Kimber, get at least 500 rounds through it before you trust it. 'Course the same should be said for any gun really. I'd go with the Sig (assuming you've tried it, and a 1911, and either will...
