I am looking at buying a S&W M49 that is nickel plated. The old owner engraved his social security number on the grip. I guess he was thinking he would live for ever and always own the gun.
My question is there a way to polish that engraving out? Is there anything you can do to get rid of it...
I was at my local gun store this week and found a S&W 629 (no lock) with a 6” barrel. I am a poor man so I put it in lay-a-way and will be able to pick it up next week. Can’t wait. This will be my first 44 magnum 6”. Wished it would have been the M29, but I am happy with stainless.
I have reverted back to carrying revolvers. I started in 1978 and carrying g professionally since 1982. I did go the semi-auto route for a long time. There is just something about a good wheel gun. I bought a S&W 640 Pro and sent it to M Carbo for a trigger job. It is a J Frame and fits my...
I can’t wait to get this gun to the range. Ammo should be here tomorrow. This is my first 6” 1911 and I am excited and it being a 10mm what could go wrong. :)
I bought a Beretta 1301 Tactical from Langdon Tactical. It is the best shotgun I have ever had. That isn’t a lot of shotguns, but is a fine shotgun. Ernest Langdon does a great job of these guns.
i picked up a Sig P938 I guess because I just wanted it. It would never be my primary unless I was really concealing deep.
It appears to be a fine made pistol. I have not shot it it yet. Trying to figure out a good holster for it. The thumb safety is a little difficult, but manageable. I...
In my over 30 years of carrying 24/7 I have never carried a 1911 that had a barrel less than 4 1/4" barrel. The Dan Wesson ECO just got my attention. First picture is what it looked liked unboxed. The grips were a "little loud" for my taste so I changed them out and then holstered in my Milt...
I jumped out into the water and purchased a Dan Wesson 1911 Valor in .45. I went back to carrying a 1911 several months ago and I ran across this DW Valor and it was a giant surprise to me how good it shoots. I love the CBOB because it is easy to conceal, but to my shock it is easy on the palm...
I know that firearms in general have gone up in price and value.
It seems to me that the revolvers are ridiculously overpriced. Is this just me or do others seem to believe this too.
Does anyone have a reason this could be happening?
A friend gave me a Side by Side 12ga Stoeger shotgun. I am needing a Butt Pad for it. Can any of you point me to the place to buy one that will fit like a glove?
Thanks

I choose not to do the the "magna port" because I am not a fan of that for concealed carry - just a personal...
