This load was developed for a Rem. Mtn. rifle in 7mm-08. After much testing and chrono work this is what we came up with. THIS LOAD MAY BE TO HOT FOR YOUR GUN...BE CAREFUL when working this load up to your gun potential. Load is very accurate.

This is what I got for my Bear gun.
Needless to say I have not run into alot of 358STA owners. I purchased mine from Winchesters Custom shop around July of 2000. They had just made a small special run of them in stainless with stainless Badger barrels. I wanted it in the hopes of a Brown bear...
All you need to do is find what bushing number you need to throw 14.2gr of Universal powder, and then use that bushing. Some manuals will give you a set charge for a given speed with several choices for different fps. 3/4oz is all you will ever need in the 28ga. I am using a 3/4oz load in my...
Even when they are unlocked, if you don't know the secret, you can't get them off.
As long as the key lock is unlocked, (should be verticle) all you do is press in on the top square button and while keeping it pressed in you then push in the key lock. It should come apart for you.

At the S.H.O.T. Show this year Benelli had the gun case enclosed in a round vertical glass case. It also had lasers completly surrounding the case to make it look like some type of James Bond alarm system. It was in a roped-off 5x5 area complete with 2 men in black suits with radio ear pieces. A...
I have the M&P 40c and carry it daily OWB in a Bang Stick holster. Don't even know its there. Also S&W has the 2 mag freebee going on until the end of April.
Japle....glad to see another 35cal. fan. I bought a 358STA from Winchesters custom shop in 1982. Only had it on one hunt so far. Not yet for big bears, which was it's original purpose. We have a 250gr. bullet traveling at 3060fps for over 5200lb. ft. of energy. And yes, you do know when the gun...
You don't say what type of hunting you want to do with this rifle. Of the 4 you listed I would only consider the Remington 700 SPS a hunting rifle because of its weight at 7.25 lbs. The others once equipped with scope, rings, bases and ammo will all be into the 11+ lb. range. Now if it were in a...
My wife CC with a Sig 232 SS, not a fun gun to shoot up a couple hundred rounds at a time. Her face really brightens up when she has my S&W M&P 9pro in her hands. She says this is a gun she can have fun with. She also shoots Skeet and 5 Stand using her 12 ga. Browning Cynergy Adj. 30" Sporting...
NavyLT...how can you verify where a person lives if you don't see a photo I.D. As a resident of Ohio I can only sell to others within the state without going thru a FFL. Without a photo I.D. I don't know where the person is from.
tinygnat219...when a photo I.D. is required and the Amish "by their religion" are not allowed to have their picture taken, a State issued I.D. would do them no good since it would require them to sit for a photo session.
So back to my original question....If you need a photo I.D. to purchase...
General....so what you are saying is that I would only need an FFL if I made a profit on any sales.
I was under the impression that you cannot buy and sell, trade, get rid of, etc. in the same day, without holding an FFL..
At our N.E. Ohio gun club today a interesting discussion came up about a member who sold a gun to an Amish man. The Amish told him that they (the Amish) can only buy used guns because they do not have photo I.D.'s. This was told to be true by another member who works for a FFL gun shop.
