    wall tent frames

Thanks This is an internal frame kit using conduit. The directions recommended taking measurements, taking 2 inches off of each measurement to allow for shrinkage. In another step, the directions recommended taking 2 to 4 inches off for the angle kit pieces. I wanted to make sure that I...

    wall tent frames

Help I am getting a brand new wall tent ready for its first elk hunt. The directions call for subtracting 2 inches from each measurement and in a later step subtracting another 2 to 4 inches from the shortened measurement, at least thats the way I read it. Am I on the right track?

Dont go with the Ramline stock! My Kimber/m96 Swede is finally shooting now that I stiffened the forearm with pieces of arrow shafts abd jb weld. Love the swede though. I now shoot it more than my other guns.

    help with a .454

I shoot h110 in mine. Some days are better than others. The 454 is not a forgiving round. Oh, and I should add that with h110 you need to load close to max or bad things can happen. Bullet wise, hornady xtp mag, 300 grain or 260 grain. Freedom arms bullets are nice but pricey. With hot...

    308 Bullet for Elk

Dont shoot elk with SST's I have killed elk with SST's, Partitions. Interbonds, and Trophy Bonded bullets in 165 grain with a 30-06. SST is too thin skinned, and the company will tell you so. The elk I shot with the SST didnt go far, but the bullet didnt penetrate and a second shot was...

Okay, try to sell me a mountable bipod!

A bipod isnt necessary in the trees. However, in tall sagebrush, a bipod can come in handy for long shots where you cant shoot prone. The tallest swivel bipod would be the one for me. I have a 9-13 inch and it is pretty worthless as a hunting tool.

ISSC M22 - is it worth the money?

My ISSC I have shot around 300 rounds of cci minimag ammo without a hitch. Tried many other brands, but Federal automatch is showing promise, but I've only shot around 40 rounds of it. Accuracy is decent, the trigger hurts my finger. When I broke the gun down to clean, I got that scraping...

    Let's Talk Rifle Stocks

milk jug stocks My experience with synthetic stocks is at both ends of the spectrum, McMillan and Ramline. The McMillan came on a used gun I bought, and at the time had never heard of them. I had a gunsmith put a touch of glass at the recoil lug, and after several hours of copper cleaning...
