Are all Remington 700 actions the same?

I have two '06 700's, both blind box magazines, one stainless. One will lock the bolt in SAFE, the other newer one allows the bolt to cycle in SAFE.

    Montana vehicle laws

You might find your answer browsing here: http://www.mtssa.org/ I know the book sold at that site covers it all. The only real rule I know of here is that you cannot shoot while hunting from inside a vehicle.

    Marlin 981T .22

It's a 22" bbl, tube fed, micro-groove bolt .22 rifle. Feels good on my shoulder. Meets all my requirements to train the grandkids with. BUT, I have no knowledge of the accuracy, reliability or ammo preference at all. If anybody knows anything, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
