    Fifteen years, success, sort of

Sorry about your friend. As others have said this would make for a good documentary series, and remember the video and pictures don't have to be fancy, just clear.

    Scope for shooting goups

Since this is going to be the scope you use until you get the scope you want, I would go with the SWFA 20x fixed. Even my blind eyes can see .22 caliber holes at 100 yards with a 20 power. Also $300.00 for them is not a bad price ether.

    Revolver Alternative Facts

It has taken me decades to unlearn a lot of the expert advise I have learned from the shop, magazine, and range expert.

    Once fired brass

I don't mind doing the prep work on my .308 brass, but I just buy the fully prepped brass from Top Brass for my PTR. With only about a 30% recovery, I would rather spend the money, and concentrate my time on brass for other rifles.

    22 ARC

Sounds to me like there is some intrigue going on in the dark corners of the basement at RMR. Mabey I should get my gift card balance built up a little bit.

    22 ARC

According to Hornady the .22ARC will send a 500 grain bullet down range at 11% of light speed, and maintain 1 inch groups at 10,000 yards.* I know that it is true because I heard it on the Hornady pod cast. My main interests in any of the light speed .22's is to push 69-75 grain bullets at...

If you had just enough money, right now, to buy any one firearm this instant, what would it be?

HK 91, fell in love with them when I was a child, and once they became rare it always was a case of not having the cash at the time, or nothing worth the price when I had the money. Maybe a PTR will be on the agenda for the tax return.

    Sierra Game Changer

Here is a .308 sampling, hope it helps.

Tell me if this is stupid...

There are cases where applying a little upward pressure can help create the correct harmonics. What type of stock? What type of groups are you getting now? Are you willing to remove the pressure pads in it now, then experiment with the new spot bedding? Have you considered running a screw...

    Small fixed blade hunter

I have been playing with my new RAT 3 constantly. About $60.00 on Amazon. It may not be as narrow you want though.

Emailed Remington about accuracy issues, let’s see what they say..

<------- My avatar photo is another one of Remington nightmares. .300 RUM Long Range. Had it blueprinted, and to refer to the quality of the metal work as being loose is generous. So the metal work is being redone, a new barrel, the chamber being cut with a new reamer, and the new oversize...

What are the current junk guns brands??

Based on personal experience from the last couple of years these would be my top picks. Remington model 700 Long Range. Tolerances loser than my ex. Mossberg MVP less accurate than a Molson Nagant, but a lot more expansive, with lower quility control. The jury is still out on my S&W M&P sport...

Changing stocks: Should I mess with a good thing?

I am not a fan of that particular stock to start with so under normal circumstances it would be changed out with a lament of one sort or another. Find a stock you like. Make two hundred rounds of the best load for that rifle. On a hot, humid all around nasty day, using bags, and rests to...

    ammo stocking

You will need to contact the different distributors and start getting your name known to them. Then it comes down to buy more, pay less, and maintain a good profit margin for yourself.

    Smith & Wesson M&P 15

I like mine, but after about 1,200 rounds the trigger would not reset, I dropped in a CMC one piece unit in and it is working good for now but I have only run about 150 rounds so far. I did change out the stock, and hand grip to fit someone of normal dimensions.

First Time Ordering A New Barrel/.300 RUM

I definitely was cramping his style, we were trying to get a lot done in a very small time frame. Drove up from Jacksonville, FLA. to Columbus, Oh. The next day drove the 100 miles to his shop, then back to Columbus. Then the next morning we were heading back to Jekyll Island. The video, and...

First Time Ordering A New Barrel/.300 RUM

I am not sure of the specifics of his equipment, I just drop off the stuff, and say fix it, then he gives me the bill. Here is a video of his setup it might be a better way to explain his setup, then me gibbering on about something I real don't know about.
