what would you put in a first aid kit for your range bag?

Well said. I think they were mentioned only in one previous post. 1. Gloves are the number one item to put in your FAK and more than one pair I might add.

My new (to me) S&W snubbie

Take a breath or two and consider for what purpose that gun will be used. I have the 340 version which is hammerless and I consider it to be a last ditch SD weapon and the sights will likely never be used. I do have a set of Crimson Trace LG405' laser grips which allow me good accuracy at 20...

What is the last gun that you bought?

Bought from a buddy a 642 cut for moonclips. Sold it for $1 to my soon to be son-in-law who, along with my daughter, have carry permits. They have all too often the need to venture into Minneapolis for business.

What ammo are you finding and for how much?

My LGS (no internet sales) had hundreds of boxes of 9mm 124gr.Syntech @ $21.99 and AE @ $19.95 Been there for nearly a week. A month ago they had 1000 50rd ct. Blazer 22lr. @ 4.99/bx. which took three weeks to sell.

Looking Forward to Another Stimulus Gun Buying Spree.

I wonder if some people understand that stimulus money came out of their own wallets.

My Wife wants a 9mm Gold Cup!

The Gold Cup is a great gun but for carry there may be better choices with different sights and a bit more rounded. I am not a fan of 9mm in 1911 platform but put a all-steel Commander in 45acp in her hand and now she has a big gun in God's caliber.

    22lr prices

Last week, one of my LGS got 1000 50ct. boxes of Blazer 40 gr. priced at $4.99/bx/50. Put them on the shelf 2/bx per person limit per sale and yes you could go to your car and return for more (within reason). No internet sales walk-in only. Today, nearly one week later I just checked their...

    LGS Price Difference

Southern suburb in Minneapolis area. Two LGS within ten minutes of my home. One is locally owned and for the last five days has had Blazer 22's on the floor for $4.99/bx. Three weeks ago it took him four days to sell our of his 10,000 9mm at $21.00/bx. Across the highway is a Scheels that has...

Mika pocket holster for a Sig p365?

I agree on the Mika being a bit bulky. I do not find my P365 to be a very pocketable gun. If I were going to consider bocket I would be prone to look at something made from Kydex. I believe Hickock45 has mentioned Alabama Holsters as his choice for pocket carry and the P365.

    IWB holster suggestions

This is a Kusiak minimalist for my P365 and being stiff leather, tuckable, and as small as possible makes it a good choice to check out.

Useless, For Need of a Spring?

Add to the replacement parts list, a Rebound Spring support. They cost nothing but are vital to the operation of the gun. I have had two failures of this part. .

    P 365 sas sights

It may need a slight adjustment but more likely it may resolve itself if you alter your finger position on the trigger. As an instructor, I have found trigger finger position on these short-barreled guns to be very critical. Remember, this is a higher capacity, small, up close and personal...

    .32acp seecamp. Am I nuts?

I had one for years and shot it from time to time but never was satisfied. The weak caliber, recoil, and being ammo specific caused me to leave it sit in the safe. Along came the Ruger LCP and even better, the LCPII, and the Seecamp was sold and I never looked back

    "I'm Good!"

I have everything I want with respect to firearms but if I didn't, I would be careful in what I would choose. New executive orders might make you a felon with the stroke of a pen. Buying it now and burying it in the backyard sounds great but............ A hundred 30 round AR mags is cool...

    Korth .22 - Wow

They do make a nice gun but it helps to be as capable as you are. Nice work.

Most often "caliber war" is more accurately "clothes war"

I can, and have carried a commander 1911 in every one of the situations you describe although in today's environment when out with my wife it is a Sig M11a1. Lot's of bad people out at night.
