I would say you have never been there before. ;) My grandparents live there and rattlesnakes can be a big problem. Plus the area is not always condusive to "just stepping away" from the snakes.

I would say the P32 is more like to jam being an auto-loader than a SA revolver but that's just me. ;) And after a few hundred rounds, I have yet to have any .22 mag...
$550 is a crazy low price, even used. I picked mine up locally for $740 new.
They shoot great. My P30 is my CCW right now. They may not take the USPc mags but the P30 mags work in the USPc's. ;)
Something sounds wrong, like someone put a P7M8 slide on a P7 frame. Can you post a pic of it? P7M8's also have the larger trigger guard as compared to the regular P7's.
