    Weird Range Fee

I was about to suggest buying $5 in ammo every time you visit :-)

Warning Signs - No Guns Allowed

Well, I'll give you 5%...but the idea's the same.

    80 Weapons Stolen During Robbery

    >How could this have been prevented? It can't. No matter what the security, there will always be a way for the criminals to get their hands on the guns. Over here they just bribe the police and army types to look the other way and then rob the armoury. Easier than getting at the gunshops...

    Would you turn them in?

Incremental restrictions. How many of you guys have supressors for your guns? Over here they're legal. Criminals don't use them, mostly because they don't work like in the movies, I guess. Now someone's going to argue that nobody needs a supressor anyway. Or a new full auto. Or whatever...

    Bo-Mar sights

Gentlefolk I have a problem. I ordered 4 x XP-100 Bo-Mar sights from Brownells yesterday. I just got the email back saying that these sights have been discontinued by the manufacturer. The Bo-Mar website still lists the sights and lists Brownells as a distributor. So I have a few...

Can I store my gun in a bucket of oil?

Make sure you keep the gun off the bottom of the bucket, 'cos that's where the water will go... suspending it mid-bucket in paraffin or ATF should work...

How many actually carry .357 in their .357 carry piece?

What's the sense in not carrying 357s? If you want to carry 38s, get a 38 revolver -- they're much lighter.

    $1500 gun buying game

    >"I'd go with an SP101". Sweet, i knew a wheelgun. Now i can get back to autoloaders... Yea, that, what Vitamin G said. SP101, and a Kahr. Or the SIG. All three of those would put you over budget, so make like the other people said, buy two and lotsa ammo.

(OH) Man sues firearm company after leg is amputated

Errmmm, say again? You're trusting the opinion of someone who believes that a single action revolver has a safety that should have been on?

The Gun Control Debate is over. We won.

This comes from a local paper, The Witness, 2007-04-19. I agree with the earlier poster who said that the internet's on our side. It's much easier than before to spread information -- previously, well funded anti organisations could outperform us, now we're much more equal. GOSA...

help me rip this guy a new one...

Guess that makes South Africa an undeveloped country... as far as I know we have around six times your murder rate (20k/year and one sixth the population I believe) He's an idjit, believing the anti soundbytes.

    Meth lab weapons cache

    >Whenever I read a story like this one from Kentucky, I wonder if what was >actually seized won't turn out to be a Thompson-Center muzzleloader, a >can of Pyrodex, and a roll of Liverwust. I just *have* to steal this for a .sig!

What did it/will it take for the woman in your life to understand home safety?

    >Fortunately, I guess, the "bad guys" solved this problem for me. We had >someone try and enter the house while we were home several years ago. >Midnight and some doorknob jiggling. Heh. The g/f surprised a couple of guys in her house in the middle of the night. Screamed at them and they...

Llama Airlite 22lr... anyone with info on this model?

Resuscitating an old thread here... I just acquired one of these (Airlite .22) for ZAR 750, that's $100 exchange-rate wise or 7 1/2 flats of beer, depending on you value system :-) Date code is H1 which makes it a 1962 model, I think. I find the later Spanish handguns to be quite well made...
