I have one. My Wife paid $127.50 for it in 1985. How does she remember that? Anyway, an accurate gun, the trigger is good SA, DA not so much. The cylinder gap is a might large so you get quite the BANG!! out of it. Classic gun.
In Winter cold weather climates heavier clothing can affect bullet penetration. I used to switch from a 9MM to a .45 on Winter for that reason. I still do but it because I have a nice shoulder rig for Winter wear.
I think I paid $180.00 NIB for a Bulgarian Makarov but that was 2002 or thereabouts. Two magazines and a holster. But that was then when East German, Bulgarian, and Russian (with the adjustable sight) were all over the place. All that C&R surplus com bloc stuff was going for fire sale prices...
Banish .22 I'm not blaming Silencer Central, I knew what it would cost going in. I just bought a toy I didn't need. I might be off on the price, it was a while ago. I thought it was four payments of $189.00. Maybe I'm wrong.
Mine cost almost that with the $200.00 tax included. Silencer Central. Kind if a waste of money for me. I have a home range so no Neighbor complaints. If I'm shooting .22 Quiet in a rifle it's the same as suppressed. .22 pistols are pretty quiet firing CCI suppressor ammunition bit standard...
Weird, I know. I feel very under gunned when I carry only my LCP!!, but alright carrying a CZ 82 with 9 X 18 Makarov. I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I got my Taurus TH 45 back from Taurus repair (THIRD TIME!) stating the had test fired my gun with 52 rounds of American Eagle .45 ACP 255 grain bullet????
Colt AR-15's without a doubt. A few years after the Mini 14 came out I saw a guy shooting one on the range and I was hot to get one. A Friend told me his Son had one and I was welcome to try it out before I bought one. I asked him what he thought of it and he said you shoot it first. That...
My Son and I have gone to Canada every year for 26 years, only missed two years because of COVID. When we went to an Outpost camp Bears were a nuisance. I took a 12 Gauge Pump shotgun and a M-1 Garand along just in case. The owner finally sold the place so we went to a regular camp. Anyway...
I like my Ruger PCC. It's fun on the range and I take it hiking. Highly unlikely I would have trouble, but I have seen Wolves twice. More punch than a .22 for sure.
The CZ 2 is soo accurate it just eclipses all my other handguns. I carry a CZ P-01. Hammer down first shot DA. I'm not going to need a carry gun that shoots dime sized groups at 25 yards. My Son has a 92 FS, another great carry gun. I see these as two distinctly different types of guns.
I bought two NIB Chinese SKS's from NORINCO. One Standard and one "Paratrooper". Both have been good shooters, my Son nailed his first Whitetail with the Paratrooper. I also bought five Yugoslavian 59/66's on a $600.00 delivered to my door as C&R. All brand new, and thankfully no cosmoline...
