    Swisscard Money clip

Hello everyone, I had a question for anyone who may have a Swisscard, particularly the one with the money clip. I have been looking for a good money clip to replace my wallet, and I like the idea of the Swisscard. My question is, what is it made of, plastic or some kind of metal? It looks...

357, H110 and 158 - are instructions always this screwed up?

Not to highjack the thread, but I have a related question. Would a Nosler 158gr JHP be ok over H110? I have load data for 110gr XTP and 125gr XTP, but my manual does not specifically say if you should be using an XTP bullet at 158gr. Thanks!

    Rainier bullets for .400 CORBON

Thanks for the info guys. I do think I'm right on (or just over) the limit for a plated bullet here, but Cabelas is sold out of Nosler 135gr .400 JHPs right now and was just thinking about giving the Rainier bullets a try. I will just wait until the Nosler bullets are back in stock since I don't...

Generic countertop any good for a reloading bench surface?

I think the cheap laminate counter tops make the best workbench you can get for the money, as long as you reinforce them with a few 2x4s along the front and wall. Think about it. The back splash keeps small parts from rolling off the back near the wall, there are no gaps in the surface for...

    Rainier bullets for .400 CORBON

Hi all, I am looking for some inexpensive bullets to reload in .400 CORBON, and I already have had good results with Rainier 200gr HP bullets in my .45ACP reloads. I would like to use 135gr HP bullets over AA#5 (which I already use for reloading .380). This should get me about 1400fps. My...

    Cleaning damascus barrels

Thanks Jim. I thought the pattern was just from two different shades of steel, and not a surface finish on two different layers of steel. That would mean that it IS possible to damage the pattern. I will be sure to test any cleaning method under th handguard, and go very slowly. Thanks again!

    Cleaning damascus barrels

Hi all, There's a long stored and neglected damascus barrel shotgun that belongs to a friend of the family in need of cleaning. Would there be any danger in using the 0000 steel wool and gun oil trick on the barrels? I was going to start out with oil and a nylon brush first, then try the...
