    I picked up the nickel 39-2 today S/N A228xxx does anyone know its birthday? No box with it but looks like it was used very little. I will post pictures when I get a chance. Thanks

    S&W Model 39 S/N

    Can anyone here tell the year made by S/N 1050xx This gun does have noticable wear, it was used as a service gun. I did not pick it up yet I want to take a better look at it to make sure it's not too worn. Asking price is $280
